DAY 1 - 7TH NOVEMBER, 2016

Here we go again! We start a new adventure today. We arrived in Santander after a 6-hour trip. It was exciting for Year 6 students to be welcomed by David and Makelele and see them again after a whole year!

¡Allá vamos de nuevo! Empezamos hoy una nueva aventura. Llegamos a Santander después de un viaje de 6 horas. Fue muy emocionante para los alumnos de sexto ser recibidos por David y Makelele y verles de nuevo después de un año.

We had lunch and then we were divided into different groups and we met our new monitors this year:

Comimos y después nos dividieron en diferentes grupos y conocimos a nuestros nuevos monitores de este año:

Jordan is the monitor for the USA team.

Jordan es el monitor del equipo de Estados Unidos.

Sampa is the monitor for Ireland.

Sampa es la monitora de Irlanda.

Michael is the monitor for England.

Michael es el monitor de Inglaterra.

Steve is the monitor for Italy.

Steve es el monitor de Italia.

Jonathan is the monitor for Canada.

Jonathan es el monitor de Canadá.

We visited our rooms for the first time and started to unpack. Then we started playing games in groups. We had a lot of fun with our monitors and teammates. We learnt a lot about animals and planets today.

Visitamos nuestras habitaciones por primera vez y empezamos a deshacer la maleta. Después empezamos a jugar a diferentes juegos en grupos. Nos lo pasamos muy bien con nuestros monitores y compañeros de equipo. Hoy aprendimos mucho sobre animales y planetas.

Then it was time to move our bodies! We started to learn a new choreography by Michael Jackson (They don’t care about us). We will dance the song the last day.

Después llegó el momento de movernos un poco. Empezamos a aprender una nueva coreografía de Michael Jackson (They don’t care about us) Bailaremos la canción el último día.

We had a shower and then we had dinner. It was a special day today because it was Olivia´s birthday!

Nos duchamos y después cenamos. ¡Hoy fue un día especial porque era el cumpleaños de Olivia!

And after improvising a scene using an assigned situation and revising the vocabulary words we learnt today, we finally went to bed! Night Night!

Y después de improvisar una escena usando una situación que nos asignaban y de repasar el vocabulario que hemos aprendido hoy, ¡por fin nos fuimos a la cama! ¡Buenas noches!
