FIFTH DAY 21/04/23

 Dear families. 

Today is the end of this incredible adventure. First of all, we want to thank you for giving us this incredible opportunity. 

The last day was very short because we had to go back to Madrid. This morning we had breakfast and after having ready our suitcases, we have written a little diary of our experience in Santander.We had a quick lunch, and started our trip back home. It was a long trip, but some of us watched two movies and others decided to rest on the bus. 🚌

It has been an incredible experience, and we are looking forward to doing another trip together.

We are already looking forward to going on another trip together.

Hoy llega el fin de esta increíble aventura. Lo primero de todo, queremos agradeceros que nos hayáis dado esta increíble oportunidad. 

Este último ha sido muy corto porque teníamos que volver a Madrid. Esta mañana hemos desayunado y tras haber ordenado nuestras maletas, hemos escrito un pequeño diario de nuestra experiencia en Santander. Hemos comido rápidamente, y hemos comenzado nuestro viaje de vuelta a casa. Ha sido un viaje largo, pero algunos hemos visto dos películas y otros hemos decidido descansar en el autobús. 🚌

Ha sido una experiencia increíble, y estamos deseando volver a vivir otro viaje juntos.

Ya estamos deseando preparar el próximo viaje.

FOURTH DAY 20/04/23

Dear families,

After having breakfast, we started our day visiting the town of Santillana del Mar, also known as the town of three lies: it's not holy, it's not plain and there's no sea. Over there, we were told the story of the town and then, we had time to shop and walk around and see the town. Afterwards, we went to Altamira caves to learn more about the history of humanity. It was so so interesting! There, we also visited the museum of Altamira caves to get more facts. When we finished our visit, we got back into the bus and started our journey back to the camp to have lunch, we were so hungry by then!

After lunch, we did different activities, both indoors and outdoors. We had snacks at 5pm and we had showers immediately after. Following the showers, we enjoyed some free time before dinner. And the best was yet to come, the disco night! It's been an unforgettable night! We danced and we sang all through from beginning to the end! We would have wanted more, but time would not let us. We have to leave but we don't want to...

Hopefully, the adventure has not ended, we'll have more next year. Nevertheless, we're looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!

Queridas familias, 

Después de desayunar, empezamos nuestro día visitando la ciudad de Santillana del Mar, conocida como la ciudad de las tres mentiras: no es santa, no es llana y no tiene mar. Allí nos contaron la historia del pueblo y luego, tuvimos tiempo para comprar y pasear y ver el pueblo. Después, fuimos a las cuevas de Altamira para aprender más sobre la historia de la humanidad. Fue muy interesante. También visitamos el museo de las cuevas de Altamira para obtener más información. Cuando terminamos la visita, volvimos al autobús y emprendimos el viaje de vuelta al campamento para comer, ¡teníamos tanta hambre!

Después de comer, hicimos diferentes actividades, tanto en el interior como al aire libre. A las 5 de la tarde tomamos un tentempié e inmediatamente después nos duchamos. Tras las duchas, disfrutamos de tiempo libre antes de cenar. Y lo mejor estaba por llegar, ¡la noche de discoteca! ¡Ha sido una noche inolvidable! Bailamos y cantamos desde el principio hasta el final. Hubiéramos querido más, pero el tiempo no nos lo permitió. Tenemos que irnos pero no queremos...

Esperemos que la aventura no haya terminado, tendremos más el año que viene. No obstante, ¡estamos deseando veros mañana!
