Dear families,
Today we've had a great day! After a good breakfast, we were ready to live a new adventure. At 9:30 we got into the bus and went to Santander to visit the beautiful Palacio de la Magdalena. The palace is located on the highest point of the peninsula and is the former summer residence of King Alphonse XIII and Queen Victoria Eugenia. We were atonished by the beauty of this building! Before that, we also visited to the Marine Park, where we've seen seals, sea lions and penguins. It's been incredible!
After visiting the city, we were quite hungry, so we went back to the camp and had a delicious meal. Then, we've spent the rest of the day playing different games and sports, like baseball, volleyball, football, basketball...
We've been told that tomorrow we're going to see the Altamira caves and Santillana del Mar. We'll tell you more about the experience tomorrow.

¡Hoy hemos pasado un día genial! Después del desayuno estábamos listos para vivir una nueva aventura. A las 9:30 nos subimos en el autobús y fuimos a Santander a visitar el precioso Palacio de la Magdalena. El palacio se encuentra en el punto más alto de la península y es la antigua residencia de verano del rey Alfonso XIII y la reina Victoria Eugenia. ¡Nos quedamos asombrados ante la belleza de este edificio! Antes de eso, también visitamos el Parque Marino, donde vimos focas, leones marinos y pingüinos. ¡Ha sido increíble!
Después de visitar la ciudad, estábamos algo hambrientos, así que volvimos al campamento y disfrutamos de un buen almuerzo. Luego, pasamos el resto de del día jugando a diferentes juegos y deportes, como béisbol, voleibol, fútbol, baloncesto...
Nos han dicho que mañana vamos a ver las cuevas de Altamira y Santillana del Mar. Os contaremos más sobre la experiencia mañana.
