We stayed in the hostel today, but it was
such a great day! First, we had breakfast and then we joined our teams and
started to have the different activities.
Hoy nos hemos quedado en el albergue, ¡pero ha sido un día genial!
Primero hemos desayunado y después nos hemos unido a nuestros equipos y hemos
empezado a realizar las diferentes actividades.
Hoy hemos aprendido mucho sobre planetas. También hemos
hecho algunos ejercicios de matemáticas y hemos practicado con el ábaco y la
brújula.
We played a gymkhana so we could show
everything we know about the planets and the solar system.
Jugamos una yincana para demostrar todo lo que sabemos sobre los
planetas y el sistema solar.
And the big thing today was… kayaking!!
There is a river near the hostel so we went there and our monitors gave us some
instructions on how to row in the same direction to turn right and left and
then we wore a life jacket and a helmet and we were ready to go! We had a
fantastic time!
Y la gran actividad hoy fue… ¡piragüismo! Hay un río cerca del
albergue así que fuimos allí y nuestros monitores nos dieron algunas
instrucciones sobre cómo remar en la misma dirección para girar a derecha e
izquierda y después nos pusimos un chaleco salvavidas y un casco y ya estábamos
listos! ¡Fue un momento fantástico!
Then we became journalists and wrote about
our experience here.
Después nos convertimos en periodistas y escribimos sobre nuestra
experiencia aquí.
In the afternoon, we finally had our big
performance with all the plays we have been rehearsing since the day we
arrived. USA won the competition!
Por la tarde, por fin hicimos nuestra gran actuación con todas las
obras que hemos estado ensayando desde el día que llegamos. ¡USA ganó la
competición!
We had an American dinner today with hamburgers and chips. South Africa
team won some dollars for being the best team at speaking English during the
meal, and the USA also won some dollars for being the cleanest team.
Hoy hemos tenido una cena muy americana, con hamburguesas y patatas
fritas. El equipo de Sudáfrica ganó algunos dólares por ser el mejor equipo
hablando inglés durante la cena, y Estados Unidos también ganó algunos dólares
por ser el equipo más limpio.
And then… disco time! We were dancing and singing some English songs in
the karaoke.
Y después… ¡discoteca! Estuvimos bailando y cantando algunas canciones
en inglés en el karaoke.
Tonight has been our last night together in the camp… Some of us were
saying that we are going to miss this so much, but here we have some pictures
to remember this experience forever. Good night!
Hoy ha sido nuestra última noche juntos en el campamento… Algunos de
nosotros estábamos diciendo que vamos a echar esto mucho de menos, pero aquí
tenemos algunas fotos para recordar esta experiencia para siempre. ¡Buenas
noches!
ATTENTION PARENTS!!!!! We are expected to arrive in Madrid at seven
o’clock. See you tomorrow!
